E-commerce (or electronic-commerce) refers to a business that works entirely on the Internet.
For example, websites such as Amazon.com, Flipkart.com, and SnapDeal are all covered under e-commerce sites.
There are mainly two major forms of E-commerce: –
1) Business-to-Consumer (B2C)
2) Business-to-Business (B2B).
Companies such as Amazon.com mainly do business directly with consumers; some other companies sell goods and services exclusively to other businesses; they have no direct connection with consumers.
These words “e-business” and “e-tailing” are used with e-commerce according to the need of the hour. All these words have the same meaning, while they are used repeatedly in different ways to confuse people.
