A 3D printer is a computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) device that creates three-dimensional objects.

Like a traditional printer, it receives digital data based on input from a computer. Whereas printing the output on top of a paper, a 3D printer produces a three-dimensional model with Mezhud custom material.
The technique that 3D printers use is called additive manufacturing. In this technique, to make a physical object, it is added layer by layer to prepare it until the model is completely complete.

At the same time, it is completely different from subtractive manufacturing, where a machine either reshapes or removes materials from an existing mold.

Since 3D printers create models from scratch, they are much more efficient and generate much less waste than subtractive manufacturing devices.

The process of doing 3D Model Printing is quite different for different materials. Just as to create a plastic model, the 3D printer heat and fuse the layers of plastic, while the process is called fused deposition modeling (FDM).

While creating a metallic object, a 3D printer uses direct metal laser sintering (DMLS) technology. This process makes thin metal layers from metallic powder using a high-powered laser.

3D printing was made in 1980, and they were used exclusively for large-scale industrial purposes. At the same time, 3D printers have become much cheaper, and now it is available only in the consumer market.

As its technology is becoming more widespread, the day is not far when 3D printers will become a viable means for people to make all their home products and replacement parts easily.
